Bristol Community College - Campus Master Plan
Developed in the 1970's, BCC has an extraordinary campus, many say it is the best community college campus in New England. Asked to determine how the campus could function better for both long-time users and especially for first-time visitors, we conducted thorough site analysis and with input from faculty, staff, and students, we developed strategies to improve campus gateways, gathering spaces, building access, and a hierarchy of existing and new paths and open spaces, with specific materials
for each. The college now has a road map to a better functioning, more legible and enjoyable campus, with significantly less need for maintenance. Shown are selections from our 81 page comprehensive Campus Master Plan, which includes analysis of the methods and significance of our Assessment of Existing Conditions, Budgets and Forecasts, recommended phasing of improvements, and Maintenance Outlines.
